The Bandit SG-40H builds on the proven performance of the SG-40, with a key upgrade in its cutter wheel drive system. Featuring a side-mounted hydraulic motor, the SG-40H eliminates the need for periodic belt maintenance—making it a preferred choice for operators seeking increased uptime and simplified service.

Powered by a 40 horsepower Vanguard EFI gasoline engine, the SG-40H delivers reliable starting, smooth operation, and the torque needed to tackle stumps of varying sizes with ease.A heavy-duty track drive system allows the unit to travel efficiently to the jobsite at speeds up to 2.6 MPH, while maintaining a low ground impact. This makes the SG-40H ideal for working in soft or challenging terrain conditions.

Operator control and visibility are at the forefront of the SG-40H’s design. A 3-position console allows operation from either side or behind the machine, providing excellent visibility of the grinding area. Dual joysticks control machine travel, while a single joystick manages all cutter wheel functions—delivering precise, efficient control and maximizing productivity on every job.
