🌀 Peak storm season is here, and your deck is probably the last thing on your hurricane prep list.

Think your deck needs a power washer? Think again. 🚫

Most deck brands will tell you their boards can be power washed. As the manufacturer, we take a different position, and it comes from actually testing the material.

Our testing on AmeriDex cellular PVC shows that high-pressure washing can create micro-tears in the surface. They're nearly invisible on day one, but over time they collect water and debris AND disrupt the UV stabilizers built into the cap layer, creating weak spots where sunlight speeds up fading and wear.

The good news? Keeping an AmeriDex deck looking new is genuinely easy. A garden hose, mild soap, and a soft-bristle brush handle just about everything.
