Steven's nights are spent helping keep production moving in Arkansas, but the end of a shift doesn't mean the end of his day. He's also working toward a bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies, balancing school with a full-time job.

The same commitment shows up everywhere else, too. Whether he's fishing, skateboarding or tackling the next challenge, Steven doesn't seem interested in doing anything halfway.

We're glad that kind of drive is part of the FedMet team.

Researchers at Australian National University have developed a way to use precisely controlled laser pulses to cut ordinary aluminum foil into microscopic grids that manipulate terahertz light. The resulting polarizers can be produced in seconds, without the expensive cleanrooms and specialized fabrication traditionally required.

Another fascinating example of how much possibility can be hiding in a very familiar piece of metal.
