We’re proud to have collaborated with an exceptional team on this project. Serving as the cold-formed steel engineer, McClure led the design and detailing of the curved exterior and interior framing, helping achieve a high level of accuracy and continuity throughout the structure.

Collaboration within complexity.

The Paradise Island Pool Pavilion for Royal Caribbean presented a series of challenges, but they were no match for our team.

By focusing on prefabrication, clear installation planning, and field-ready framing solutions, the team simplified a highly complex building and kept crews moving smoothly on-site.

The pavilion, designed by Stantec, featured a sweeping curved form with a thin structural profile and tight dimensional control. Hammer Haag Steel, Inc. then provided a complex primary steel structure that our cold-formed framing system would encapsulate with the help of McClure engineering.

In the end, this project was about more than curved framing. It was a strong collaboration built on problem-solving, communication, and planning.

Supporting safe, reliable drinking water for years to come.💧

McClure is proud to support the City of Grinnell with the design of a new Drinking Water Treatment Plant, providing a modern facility to support the community’s long term water needs. The new plant will use advanced membrane treatment technology and is designed to produce over 2 million gallons of finished water per day, with room for future expansion.

Check out McClure’s latest student housing project on Western Michigan University’s campus in Kalamazoo, MI! 🚧

This nearly 300,000‑square‑foot, four‑story development features load‑bearing cold‑formed wall panels and composite laminated timber (CLT) floors, with the floor system serving as the building’s lateral system. Once complete, the project will provide more than 1,000 beds to support a large student population. Construction is underway with completion scheduled for fall 2026.
