Project of the Week: Remsen Water Treatment Plant🚰

McClure partnered with the City of Remsen to modernize its aging water infrastructure and improve water quality through a new Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant. The facility uses direct membrane treatment on water from the City’s three Dakota Aquifer wells, followed by aeration and blending to achieve the desired water quality. The result is a resilient water system and higher quality water for the Remsen community.

The McClure Foundation is proud to support the Des Moines Public Library Foundation’s STEAM-focused makerspace, where patrons can explore everything from 3D printing and laser cutting to embroidery and video production.

We’re proud to help provide opportunities for people of all ages to experiment, create, and discover something new.

McClure - Project Spotlight #2

Community Master Plan & Kahler Park Revitalization - Minden, Iowa
• Supporting the City of Minden's recovery from an EF-3 tornado that damaged nearly 40% of the community.
• Partnering with the City, local businesses, and regional organizations, they are helping establish a shared vision, setting goals, and securing funding to guide long-term recovery.
• Rebuilding the recreation building and ballfields was a top community priority. They led the master planning process, and helped secure a matching grant that covered half of the planning fee.
• Created a phased master plan for Kahler Park, aligning improvements with funding opportunities.
• Helped the City obtain grants for trees, fountains, and trails, ensuring the park's redesign can evolve into a vibrant space that reflects Minden's resilience and future vision.

For more than six decades, Mike has dedicated his expertise to the water industry and McClure, and he continues to be an invaluable resource to our team.
