Nilles Associates recently performed a profile and cross section survey of Little Beaver Creek for the City of Grimes. Streambank erosion is an ongoing issue with many waterways in Iowa. Many factors can contribute to the deterioration of a streambank, and our job is to study and determine those sources. Once we have identified those causes, we can make recommendations to our clients for the erosion management practice best suited for their situation.
