1000 trees , 2 acres , 20+ community members, closed canopy in 3 years 🌴💯

Through community oriented maintenance programs, we restored this exhausted quarry site into a thriving ecosystem.

Canopy closure is such an important metics of success as it represents a point of forest maturity , improved microclimate, reduced soil erosion and invasive species, enhanced soil carbon storage, more biodiversity.

At the end of the year we’re going to do a huge comparison video to show how far we’ve come 😉

What were the objectives of our pilot study at Forest Park Landfill with the constructed wetland ?

Not to bring water within WPR spec, but to see if it was possible for a nature based solution to even treat the water.

Do we have the capacity locally to research develop deploy operate maintain report and take to market these technologies ?

What can we learn from our pilot to scale and improve treatment capacity for larger levels ?
