FYI: The public sector doesn’t have to be defined by complexity or the constant struggle against cost overruns. ‼️
Last week at The Brix, TSL and FreeBalance hosted "The Seamless State," a breakfast briefing dedicated to the leaders currently navigating the unique administrative and fiscal hurdles of Trinidad and Tobago. We were particularly honored to be joined by the 🇨🇦 Canadian High Commissioner and members of the High Commission of Canada in Trinidad and Tobago, whose presence highlighted the vital partnership between Canadian innovation and our 🇹🇹 local expertise.
The morning was spent moving past theoretical discussions and focusing on the practical realities of governance today. We explored how automated commitment controls can stop budget overruns before they start, how integrated procurement can finally accelerate service delivery with total transparency, and how we can better manage the specific complexities of the civil service compared to the private sector. It was an insightful morning of shared challenges and, more importantly, shared solutions.
