Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) has become the first site in Asia Pacific to implement the RUBY-FILL® System, marking an important milestone for cardiac PET imaging in the region.

Transmedic Philippines Inc. made a strong presence as a Gold Sponsor at the 32nd Annual Convention of the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology (PAO) 2026, held from 29 September to 2 October 2026, reaffirming its commitment to advancing ophthalmic care in the Philippines.

A key highlight was the lunch symposium, "The Art of Premium IOL Selection", which attracted approximately 100 attendees and explored premium intraocular lens selection, patient expectations, and personalised approaches to achieving optimal visual outcomes in cataract surgery.

We also hosted the Glaukos Symposium, "Infinite Possibilities: Trabecular Micro-Bypass", attended by around 30 participants. The session highlighted advancements in glaucoma management and the role of minimally invasive surgical technologies in enhancing patient care and long-term disease management.

Throughout the convention, our exhibition booth served as a platform for product demonstrations, knowledge sharing, and meaningful engagement with healthcare professionals. Three editions in, and the conversation on motion preservation keeps getting bigger.

We recently brought together leading spine surgeons and clinical experts from around the world for our 3rd Artificial Disc Replacement (ADR) Roundtable at Conrad Singapore Orchard.

Across the programme, our faculty exchanged the latest clinical evidence, surgical techniques and perspectives on cervical and lumbar total disc replacement — from patient selection and clinical outcomes to spinal deformity management and 360-degree motion preservation.

A special thank you to our Course Chairman, Dr Dennis Hey, and Course Co-Chairman, Dr Chew Zhihong, for helping shape this year’s programme. We were also privileged to welcome Dr Scott Blumenthal and Dr Martin Grau-Ortiz to Singapore, alongside Dr Todd Lanman and Dr Marc-Antoine Rousseau, who joined us remotely and shared their expertise and perspectives.
