Offering 40+ years of expertise, global solutions, and trusted support to healthcare professionals across ASEAN and Hong Kong to improve patient care. WHAT WE DO

MEDICAL DEVICES DISTRIBUTION & HIGHLY SPECIALISED DRUGS

In Asia, we have seen the emergence of informed, tech-savvy patients who use the Internet to research their options for medical treatment. This new group values their time, mobili

ty and comfort, and wants ways to reduce downtime and avoid hospitalization if possible. Transmedic understands their concerns and has endeavoured over the last 4 decades to become the top specialist in the advanced medical technology arena in Asia. We believe that these technologies can genuinely impact the quality of healthcare and significantly improve patient recovery times. EDUCATION & TRAINING

We are deeply committed to education, and invest heavily in training for doctors, technology promotion and patient education. We also regularly sponsor and help to organise medical conferences, exhibitions, symposiums and workshops for healthcare professionals to exchange findings and build networks. POST-SALES SUPPORT

Besides technology introduction, we are also deeply involved in implementation and maintenance. We believe in providing the post-sale support necessary to extract the most value out of the machines; in the process forming long-term links with the best healthcare practitioners in the industry.

At the 32nd PSCCI Annual Scientific Convention in the Philippines, Transmedic Philippines was proud to stand alongside our partner, Philips, in supporting one of the country’s leading scientific gatherings for interventional cardiology.

Bringing together over 150 healthcare professionals, this year’s convention created a dynamic platform for clinical exchange around the evolving future of cardiovascular intervention — from imaging and precision-guided procedures to the technologies shaping modern cathlab practice.

Throughout the meeting, physicians and healthcare professionals visiting the booth had the opportunity to explore the Philips Cathlab and IVUS systems, sparking meaningful discussions around workflow efficiency, procedural precision, and innovation in real-world clinical settings.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the organisers, faculty, healthcare professionals, and our partner for making this year’s meeting a meaningful success. We look forward to continuing to support the cardiovascular community through innovation, education, and collaboration.

Laughter, conversations, and meaningful connections filled the room as our colleagues at Transmedic Malaysia came together for a special Raya celebration.

Last week, our team gathered to celebrate both Hari Raya and the upcoming Hari Raya Haji — taking a meaningful pause from our daily work to reconnect, mingle, and celebrate the people behind everything we do.

Hari Raya is a season of reflection, gratitude, and togetherness, and moments like these remind us that strong organisations are built not only through business, but through relationships, culture, and community.

Here’s to celebrating traditions, strengthening bonds, and growing together as one Transmedic family.

As one community, DDU ASEAN 2026 once again concludes as a successful and impactful gathering of regional spine leaders.

For the third year running, this meeting has brought together the region’s spine community for far more than scientific presentations. Across two dynamic days, the programme continues to strengthen the connections that move our spine community forward — bringing together healthcare professionals, ideas, and experiences that help shape the future of spine care across ASEAN and beyond.

Our sincere appreciation goes to our Steering Committee, Faculty, and every participating surgeon whose expertise, passion, and willingness to share made this year’s programme truly exceptional.

We are equally grateful to our sister company LifeHealthcare, and our valued partners, for their continued support in advancing meaningful professional education across the region.

Thank you for being part of DDU ASEAN 2026. See you next year!

Driving the future of premium refractive surgery at the 4th STAAR Surgical EVO ICL APAC Experts Summit, held on 24 April in Guangzhou.

Selected leading and emerging refractive surgeons from the Philippines and Malaysia joined top regional and international experts for a high-impact scientific and commercial exchange focused on accelerating EVO ICL adoption across the Asia-Pacific region.

The summit reinforced EVO ICL’s position as a premium refractive solution and provided valuable insights into how clinical excellence, surgeon advocacy, and practice development can continue to shape the future of refractive surgery in Southeast Asia. Through expert scientific sessions, panel discussions, best practice sharing, and commercial growth discussions, participants gained strategies to strengthen adoption and expand access to EVO ICL across the region.

We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Alan Koh from Malaysia for reaching the remarkable milestone of 2,000 Toric EVO ICL implants—a testament to clinical excellence and an inspiring contribution to the continued advancement of refractive surgery with Transmedic across Southeast Asia.

The Transmedic Singapore Spine Team was pleased to support the recent Endospine course hosted by National Neuroscience Institute (NNI) last month.

Led by the NNI team, the programme brought together spine surgeons from across the region for an immersive learning experience focused on the evolving practice of endoscopic spine surgery. Through cadaveric workshops and simulations of real intraoperative challenges, participants gained practical, hands-on experience in techniques increasingly shaping modern spine care.

Beyond technical training, the course also provided a valuable platform for peer-to-peer exchange, enabling surgeons to share experiences, discuss approaches, and learn from one another across diverse markets and practice settings.

It is encouraging to see continued efforts to build regional capability and foster collaboration — reflecting Transmedic’s ongoing commitment to advancing professional education and supporting better patient care across the region.

We thank the NNI team and faculty, as well as joimax, for making this important initiative possible and for their shared commitment to advancing spine education in Asia.

Day 1 of DDU ASEAN 2026 is LIVE — and the energy in the room says it all.

The regional spine community has gathered in Da Nang, and from the very first session, the conversations have been nothing short of inspiring.

Scientific presentations. Complex case discussions. Peer-to-peer exchanges. Every session a reminder of just how deep and diverse the expertise across this region truly is.

It is this spirit of knowledge sharing, both within and beyond the scientific programme, that continues to define the DDU ASEAN experience.

Day 1 has been insightful and impactful. We cannot wait to see what Day 2 brings.

Open dialogue, shared experiences, and meaningful clinical exchange.

That was the spirit of the recent EVO ICL Users Meeting in Manila, hosted by Transmedic Philippines, where over 40 ophthalmologists came together for an evening of peer-to-peer learning and clinical discussion.

From patient selection and vaulting considerations to navigating surgical complexities and sharing clinical pearls, the discussions addressed practical, real-world questions that help new users build confidence, accelerate adoption, and strengthen decision-making in practice.

Moderated by Dr. Robert Ang, with engaging case-based discussions and practical surgical insights from Dr. Reginald Tan and Dr. Erika Elazegui, the session created a valuable platform for surgeons to exchange real-world experiences in EVO ICL practice.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our faculty, organising committee, and to our partner, STAAR Surgical, for supporting meaningful professional education and continued clinical excellence across the region. We look forward to the next user meeting.
