As adaptive radiotherapy continues to move into routine clinical practice, Health Canada’s clearance of Elekta Evo with Iris and the Online Adaptive solution marks another important step in that transition.

Ardie Ermers, Head of Region Americas, says:

“This milestone supports the ongoing shift toward making adaptive radiotherapy part of routine care in Canada. It enables clinicians to personalize treatment in real time and improve precision in cancer care. Canada plays an important role in advancing innovation, and this approval also supports collaboration across the oncology community, particularly as we look ahead to AAPM | COMP Joint Scientific Meeting in Vancouver, where adaptive radiotherapy will be a key focus."
