Happy Midsummer! 🌹🌻🌷

Today we celebrate one of the most beloved Swedish traditions - Midsummer! It marks the summer solstice and is a time to welcome the light, nature, and the joy of summer. We gather with family and friends to dance around the Midsummer pole, sing traditional songs, and enjoy classic seasonal foods like pickled herring, new potatoes with sour cream, and fresh strawberries. Many also wear flower crowns and celebrate under the long, bright Nordic night.

Please note that our office and production in Sweden are closed today due to the holiday. We wish you a joyful and sunny Midsummer!

We are proud to have successfully renewed our ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications. This confirms our continued commitment to quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement in everything we do.

As of this certification, our scope has also been expanded to include our Scanmineral operations, now part of Tyrolit Construction Sweden AB. This includes a complete range of products for industrial flooring, as well as solutions for outdoor environments.

Did you know that Tyrolit offers shot blasters with working widths from 200 to 560 mm?

Shot blasting is a highly efficient surface preparation method that propels steel shot at high speed onto the substrate using a rapidly rotating blast wheel. The impact removes contaminants, coatings, or weak surface layers while simultaneously creating a clean, textured profile ideal for subsequent coatings or overlays.

The abrasive is continuously recycled inside the machine, while dust and debris are separated through an integrated dust collector, ensuring a controlled and nearly dust-free process. Shot blasting is suitable for concrete, asphalt, steel, and other hard surfaces, delivering consistent CSP profiles and high productivity on large areas.
