We get asked a lot to support different causes and we do our best to help where we can.
Recently, one came through that stuck with us.
Dan from Roof Painting Services reached out, simply trying to pull together a few local businesses to support the homeless community here in Ōtautahi this winter.
After chatting with him and Josh at the Christchurch City Mission we were able to donate 100 pairs of gloves.
Nothing massive, but something warm, practical, and needed.
Things are tough out there at the moment. For some, even the basics aren’t a given.
If you’re in a position to help, the City Mission are still after socks and hygiene items.
You can also check in with your local mission to see what’s needed.
And if you’re looking for another way to give back, Kindness Collective’s PJ Project is running again, helping provide warm pajamas to kids doing it tough this winter.
Every little bit counts.
