The Eco Clipper AM5 autonomous mower is now available for commercial sale.

Following a six-month field validation at Loeffen, a turfgrass producer in the Netherlands, the EC-AM5 has proven itself in day-to-day production conditions. Both a battery-powered and a diesel-powered version are available.

The battery-powered version will be demonstrated at the TGA Demonstration Day 2026 at Grasslands Turf in the United Kingdom on 2 July.

Both Eco Clipper autonomous mowers with 513 cm mowing decks operating in the field at Loeffen last week. The diesel version on the foreground and the battery version in the background.

The design has been updated with a third wheel and a power pack, so now it can lift the decks itself for transport on shorter distances from field to field. For longer distances it still can be picked up by the three point hitch of the tractor.

On the video you can notice the speed difference of 12 km/h when mowing in the field and max 6 km/h on the headlands.

The RM343 is Eco Clipper's smallest model for behind a compact tractor. Here it is behind a 48 hp Iseki. The mowing width is 343 cm and it folds down to a 170 cm width. Both side decks can be lifted independently in order to adjust the mowing width.

The Eco Clipper mowing deck provides a clean and very quiet cut and excellent clipping distribution, even in wet grass. With the speed and maneuverability of the Iseki and RM343, a sports field can be mowed within 15 minutes.

Over the past months, we have been working together with Kweekbedrijf Loeffen and Willem Verstappen to fine-tune the Eco Clipper AM5 in real conditions.

On around 50 hectares of turf, we made the final practical adjustments needed to let the robot do its work reliably. Step by step, combining technology with hands-on experience.

It’s great to see the machine now operating autonomously on these large fields.

Next step: additional safety tests in France. After that, we move closer to making the AM5 available for wider use.
