Our After Sales department now has two brand-new vans in its fleet. These vans enable our engineers to be on the road servicing our systems. They travel across parts of Europe to ensure our systems remain up to date.

The vans are equipped with all the tools the service engineers require and the new branding ensures they are easily recognisable on the road🛡️.

𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁

On Wednesday, April 29, we had the pleasure of welcoming 𝗠𝗿. 𝗛𝗥. 𝗞𝘂𝗶𝗸𝗲𝗻 and the original representatives of the former Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗛. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘂𝘄𝘀 and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥. 𝗛𝘂𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗻, at Hytrans.

Mr. Kuiken, director in the past of the former company Kuiken, played a key role in initiating the development of our submersible pump activities for the Dutch Fire Brigades in 1988. This project has proven to be the foundation of our systems today. His continuing drive and enthusiasm are truly inspiring and remain the same as when it all started.

Together with Mr. Theuws and Mr. Husmann, who were closely involved from the Ministry side, their collaboration ultimately led to the development of the first HydroSubs.
With 200 units delivered at the time, this formed the basis of what is now our HS150 and CombiContainer solution and, in many ways, our entire product line.

Our three visitors were above 80 years old but still highly interested in fire and disaster fighting.
During their visit, we connected the history of Hytrans to our current business: reflecting on how far we have come, while recognizing the strong foundation that was built decades ago.
We also made a tour of our facilities.

The group photo attached showcases the HS150 products, on how it started and the latest version of this highly versatile product.
Moments like these remind us that innovation is built on experience, collaboration, and vision.

On the 22nd and the 23rd of April, Hytrans was present at the Exporic fair. Here we had the opportunity to connect with emergency response professionals, partners, and industry experts. Events like these highlight the importance of collaboration in preparing for large-scale disasters and complex incidents.

We appreciate the insightful conversations, shared experiences, and the strong engagement around the role of high-capacity water logistics in modern emergency response.

𝗛𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀’ 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗶𝗷 𝗛𝘆𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀!

Vandaag kwamen er 10 scholieren van het LennaMare langs voor Girls’ Day. Girls’ Day is een landelijk initiatief bedoeld om meiden tussen de 10 en 17 jaar enthousiast te maken voor technische beroepen. Op deze manier hopen we in de toekomst ook meer vrouwen in de techniek te zien!

Vanochtend waren de meiden aanwezig bij Hytrans. Ze hebben onder andere een rondleiding gekregen, waarbij ze ontdekten hoe onze mobiele water transportsystemen worden ontwikkeld, gebouwd en ingezet bij grote incidenten wereldwijd. Naast kijken konden ze ook een activiteit uitvoeren in de werkplaats.

Wij vinden het belangrijk om jong talent vroeg te enthousiasmeren en te laten zien hoe veelzijdig en impactvol werken in de techniek kan zijn. Want de techniek van morgen heeft nieuwe ideeën en talent nodig, en daar horen zeker ook meer vrouwen bij.

𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀’ 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝘆𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀!

Today, 10 students from LennaMare visited for Girls’ Day. Girls’ Day is a national initiative intended to get girls aged 10 to 17 excited about technical professions. In this way, we hope to see more women in technology in the future!

The girls were present at Hytrans this morning. Among other things, they received a guided tour, during which they discovered how our mobile water transport systems are developed, built, and deployed at major incidents worldwide. In addition to observing, they were also able to participate in an activity in the workshop.

We believe it is important to inspire young talent early on and show them how versatile and impactful working in technology can be. After all, the technology of tomorrow needs new ideas and talent, and that certainly includes more women.

A Hytrans unit in the field

In the Netherlands, several Safety Regions are using our mobile water transport system. Brandweer Fryslân uses our systems at 5 of its fire stations. This provides quick access to water over long distances or in hard-to-reach places, helping save lives and minimize damage to buildings and infrastructure.
