Wat breng je mee?

Hytrans in Ulsan: Ready When It Matters

On October 14, a major fire broke out at a chemical facility in Ulsan, South Korea, forcing thousands of workers to evacuate.

A Hytrans unit was dispatched to the scene and remained on standby, ready to provide high-capacity water supply if required. However, due to the flammable chemicals involved, the system was not activated.

This was not the first time Hytrans equipment was present at a major industrial fire in Ulsan.

During a previous tank fire in 2025 at United Terminal Korea, a Hytrans HydroSub 1400F, combined with an MTS12 monitor, delivered an impressive 45,000 litres of water per minute. The system was operational within just 15 minutes, helping firefighters bring the fire under control in only two hours.

These incidents demonstrate how every industrial fire requires a different approach and how important it is to have the right equipment available when needed.

FLORIAN 2026! 🚒💧

Last week, we had a great few days at FLORIAN in Dresden, Germany!

During the exhibition, we showcased our Electric PowerPack (ePP) in combination with the Hose Recovery Unit (HRU), demonstrating how electric power can contribute to quieter, cleaner and more efficient hose recovery operations.

It was a great opportunity to connect with emergency response professionals, and talk about solutions for large-scale firefighting and flood response.

A week of technical training at Hytrans!

From 28 September to 2 October 2026, technicians and engineers from MAVESSE joined members of the French Directorate General for Civil Security and Crisis Management (ESOL Nord et Sud and ESO Ouest) for a technical training programme at Hytrans in Lemmer, the Netherlands.

⚙️ In-depth technical training and exchange of practical experience

It was a valuable week of learning and knowledge sharing, helping the teams further strengthen their technical expertise and support operators in the field even more effectively.
