LiuGong Machinery Europe goes big at Hillhead Show 2026 on stand D4 showcasing not just larger machines, but a complete approach to battery electric job sites including charging solutions with DENS.
Speaking with Harry Mellor on the stand, the focus was on solving real-world challenges across demolition, quarrying and major infrastructure projects.
Key highlights included:
- The new 956 excavator, designed to deliver near 75-tonne digging performance in a more compact and cost-effective platform.
- A 30-metre telescopic dipper configuration aimed at large-scale infrastructure and specialist applications.
- Factory-built demolition machines with integrated features including tilting cabs, straight booms and guarding packages, all covered under a single warranty.
- A LiuGong wheel loader milestone celebrating 60 years of production and the manufacture of its 600,000th loader.
- A special Hillhead package on the new 877T wheel loader featuring 60 months warranty, service support, telematics and finance.
- And a complete battery electric vehicle (BEV) showcase, featuring one of the largest electric rigid dump trucks seen in the UK.
As Harry explained:
“We have sold over 60,000 electric machines globally, and we know more about setting up a BEV demolition site, quarry site, construction site or tunnelling site because we’ve already done it.
“We’re showing customers that we have all the products, charging solutions and partners needed to make any site BEV.”
