Job Description - Foreperson
🔗The role:
Whilst reporting directly to the Project Manager, the chosen Foreperson will be responsible for leading the team of workers, for monitoring the progress of works by ensuring that the projects are completed within the stipulated timeframe.
The candidate will help the project manager with all activities related to the project including allocating manpower, compile list of materials needed, scheduling, procurement, quality control, meeting clients and managing health and safety requirements.
🔗Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret finishing plans and construction drawings is required.
Knowledge of materials, finishes and quality standards is required.
Strong coordination skills with subcontractors and suppliers and the ability to identify and resolve issues.
Attention to detail is essential.
Previous experience in a similar position will be considered an asset.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Maltese.
Knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project and AutoCAD
Driving licence category B
Clean police conduct certificate.
