Malta International Airport closed 2025 having welcomed more than ten million passengers for the first time in its history, and the summer ahead promises to be busier still 🛫. Every one of those journeys depends on what happens on the ground, from turnaround to ramp, carried out with precision and care. At Aviaserve we hold that responsibility closely, keeping operations moving smoothly so that each flight departs on time and each passenger reaches where they are going. Aviaserve Ltd is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to oversee airside and landside operations, and ensure full compliance with aviation ground handling safety regulations, ISO standards, local environment, carrier and company policies and procedures.

Key Requirements:

Recognized EHS qualifications
Experience in airport/aviation operations
Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 45003
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to conduct audits, risk assessments & safety training
Hold a valid Driving License (Maltese, EU, or UAE License)

The Role includes (but not limited to):

Monitoring airside and landside safety compliance
Promoting a strong safety culture
Preparing and carrying out risk assessments
Conducting inspections and internal audits
Managing incident reporting and corrective actions
Supporting operational teams on all H&S matters
Delivering Occupational Health & Safety training to employees.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of carrier operations manuals, airport Safety Management Systems (SMS), and internal safety documentation.


This is a full-time on-site role requiring flexibility during operational peaks and eligibility for airport security clearance.

Over a million passengers passed through Malta International Airport in April ✈️, and the summer has not even started yet. From now until October, the airport runs at its busiest pace of the year, and behind every flight you see take off is a ground operation working to the minute. Trust in ground operations is built one turnaround at a time 🤝. Each renewed agreement, each new airline that joins our roster, is a confirmation that the operation we delivered last year is the one they want again this year.

Aviaserve has been built on that principle, coordinating passenger, ramp and cargo operations across more than 25,000 aircraft movements each year 🛬 at Malta International Airport, sustained by over two decades of direct experience on the island.
