Never Bin Vapes - Always Recycle for Free!♻️

When electricals containing hidden batteries and electrical parts like vapes are incorrectly disposed of in household bins - they can get crushed or damaged during waste processing, sparking dangerous fires in bin trucks and recycling centres.

As the not for profit compliance scheme representing the Farm fence importers, WEEE Ireland are calling on all Co-ops and distributors to the Agri sector to participate in the collection program.

WEEE Ireland urging users not to bin the vapes ♻️

VA**RS in Galway are being urged to never bin their vapes as only six per cent of the 25 million vapes returned for recycling last year.

Recent figures from Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Ireland indicate that out of the 25 million vapes sold in Ireland last year, only 1.4 million returned for recycling while 23.6 million were simply thrown away or dumped in household bins.
