It may look like just another post about car refinishing but this short video is actually of an historic moment for Synergy Vehicle Refinishing Solutions Ireland Ltd. In the early 90s we first introduced Sikkens Vehicle Refinishes Autowave waterborne basecoat. Now I'm not saying we were the first in Ireland to make the transition from the old solvent basecoat but we were the first to have the confidence to install waterborne basecoat in to our bodyshops customers as a stand a lone system if Autowave went in old solvent product came out. Autowave was not only better for the bodyshop but so much better for the environment. Some 30+ years later we are making another technological leap forward introducing Sikkens Optima as it goes through our real world test for the Irish market. Make no mistake Sikkens Optima is yet another once in a generation gamechanger for the Irish car refinishing industry. Introduction demo days and launch dates coming soon. Watch this space...

We are very proud of our friend JP Donoghue who raced at the Newbawn Hill Climb last Saturday and Sunday with only 10 seconds in it. JP has to have been the youngest Novice competitor of the two days. Well done JP, the Mini looks fabulous thanks to your own design and colour choices. Some lad.

Last night, the Vizion Ireland team headed to the SIMI Irish Motor Industry Awards. It was a real pleasure to catch up with familiar faces, meet new ones, and have some great chats about what’s next for claims, repair and customer experience.
