Intoxicating turbo sound like no other intake.
Open filters are loud, but our design is louder and … smarter!
By utilizing the cowl high pressure zone, the secondary air feed resonates and amplifies the turbo spooling and blow off valve sounds, creating an intoxicating experience for the driver and passengers.
It’s no secret that the F40s lacks the intake sound they deserve.
Even with aftermarket options, we haven’t seen a solution that increases power, delivers real intake sound, and remains fully enclosed.
Open cone kits increase turbo sound (just a bit), though not to the level of our solution, but they compromise performance by drawing hot air from the engine bay.
Traditional closed systems usually improve performance, but at the cost of sound.
We refused to accept that trade-off.
By thinking outside the box, we developed a fully enclosed airbox and introduced a secondary air feed.
The original front air diverter is actually very well designed, with little to gain by replacing it.
Instead, to increase the volume of cold air entering the system, we added a secondary air feed.
This secondary feed utilizes the cowl area, a naturally high-pressure zone, to draw in additional cold air, improving airflow while remaining completely sealed from engine-bay heat.
Intoxicating turbo sound.
The secondary air feed doesn’t just increase airflow, it dramatically enhances turbo sound.
In a way that even open cone kits cannot achieve.
Turbo sound is directed outside the engine bay, bypassing insulation and delivering a raw, mechanical experience directly to the cabin.
You can hear the turbo spool even under light throttle.
With the windows closed, the sound remains deep, present, and completely transforms the driving experience.
