What an incredible season it has been for Team NAWASA in the 2026 GCIC Inter-Sector Cricket Competition.

Our team demonstrated exceptional skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the tournament, finishing in an impressive 3rd Place overall. Team Manager, Jamila Lewis, was on hand to collect the team's third-place trophy and cheque, tonight at the Morne Rouge Playing Field capping off a remarkable campaign.

Adding to the celebrations, Team NAWASA proudly captured the Zone D Championship Trophy after going undefeated throughout the preliminary rounds of competition. The team also delivered some outstanding batting performances, scoring over 200 runs in two matches.

Special congratulations go to Sheldon Joseph, whose magnificent unbeaten century of 133 runs was one of the standout performances of the season.

We are extremely proud of every player and supporter, who contributed to this successful campaign. Your commitment, sportsmanship, and commitment truly represented the spirit of NAWASA.

Congratulations to St. George's University (SGU) on capturing the 2026 title and to His Majesty's Prison for their fighting spirit and competitive performance in today's Grand Final.

As one season comes to an end, we look forward with excitement and anticipation to the 2027 competition, by God's grace.

Well done, Team NAWASA! Your achievements have made us proud.

To facilitate system recharge, consumers served by the Petite Esperance water system will experience an interruption in their water supply from 8:00 p.m. tonight, Friday June 5th to 5:00 a.m. tomorrow, Saturday, June 6th, 2026.

The Petite Esperance system serves: Petite Esperance, Belle Isle, Content, Coals Gap, La Sagesse and surrounding communities in the parish of St. David.

Consumers in the affected communities are encouraged to store an adequate supply of water for use during the interruption period.

Every effort will be made to restore service within the scheduled timeframe; however, supply may return gradually as the system recharges, with customers in higher elevations possibly experiencing a delay of up to two hours.

Customers are also advised that temporary discoloration or turbidity is possible as normal pressure returns and sediments within the pipelines become disturbed.

NAWASA apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks customers for their patience and understanding as we continue working to improve service delivery.

This World Environment Day, under the theme "Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future," NAWASA recognizes that protecting our environment is essential to securing our water future.

Healthy forests, rivers, wetlands, and watersheds play a vital role in capturing, filtering, and storing the water we depend on every day. As climate change continues to impact weather patterns and water resources, safeguarding our natural ecosystems is more important than ever.

Every action we take to protect the environment helps strengthen water security for current and future generations. Together, let's conserve water, protect our watersheds, and build a more resilient Grenada.

At NAWASA, we remain committed to protecting Grenada's water resources through sustainable management, environmental stewardship, and community partnership.

๐Ÿ’™ Every drop counts.

๐Ÿ Congratulations Team NAWASA! ๐Ÿ

A tremendous congratulations to Team NAWASA on securing 3rd Place in the 2026 GCIC Inter-Sector Cricket Competition.

What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that our team remained undefeated throughout the competition, suffering their only loss in the Semi-Final encounter against SGU last Monday.

Finishing the season with an outstanding record of 11 wins from 12 matches is a testament to the commitment, discipline, teamwork, and fighting spirit displayed by every member of the squad.

Under the capable leadership of Team Manager Jamila Lewis and Captain Deyna George, Team NAWASA demonstrated excellence both on and off the field, proudly representing the organization throughout the tournament.

Champions are not measured solely by trophies, but by the consistency, determination, and heart they display throughout the journey. Winning 11 of 12 matches is a reflection of a team that refused to settle, competed with pride, and inspired excellence every step of the way. Well done, Team NAWASA, your season was one to be proud of.

Thank you to every player, supporter, and team official who contributed to this successful campaign. The future remains bright for Team NAWASA.
