To facilitate network connection at Snell Hall, St. Patrick, consumers in Snell Hall, Mt. Rich, Madeys and surrounding communities are experiencing an interruption in water supply.

Restoration is anticipated by 2:00 p.m. today, Thursday, August 6th, 2026.

Affected consumers are encouraged to utilize their stored supply.

Every effort will be made to restore service within the scheduled timeframe; however, supply may return gradually as the system recharges, with customers in higher elevations possibly experiencing a delay of up to two hours.

Customers are also advised that temporary discolouration or turbidity is possible as normal pressure returns and sediments within the pipelines become disturbed.

NAWASA apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks customers for their patience and understanding as we continue working to improve service delivery.

UPDATE | ROEBUCK WATER MAIN REPAIR

Following an extended period of flushing the pipeline, the Creighton and Richmond Hill Storage Tanks are now being refilled.

Once the tanks have reached adequate levels, we will begin distributing water to the affected communities. Customers in elevated areas and at the extremities of the distribution network are reminded that their water supply may be restored later than in other areas as the system gradually recharges and pressure builds.

A further update on water-supply distribution will be provided later today.

We again sincerely apologize for the prolonged disruption and thank our customers for their continued patience and understanding.
