On Tuesday, we were delighted to take part once again in the Business Fives 5-a-side football tournament in Reading. We were proud to have two Intersurgical teams from the Head Office representing us against businesses from across Berkshire, coming together for an afternoon of football in support of charity.

Both teams gave it their all on the day, with plenty of goals, teamwork and some great moments on the pitch.

A big thank you to Business Fives for hosting another fantastic event, and congratulations to everyone who took part and represented Intersurgical!

Patients receiving oxygen therapy may be at risk of developing pressure injuries on the ears. We're highlighting two products designed to support patient comfort which may help reduce the risk of pressure ulcers on the ear during oxygen therapy.

Our Intersurgical EcoLite™ adult oxygen mask features an extra chin section with two integral seals, helping it comfortably fit a wide range of face shapes. The elastic can be positioned either above or below the patient’s ears; when placed below, it can help avoid discomfort and potential longer-term trauma caused by elastic over the ears.

For an alternative oxygen delivery option, our nasal cannula with Intersurgical Earguards™ offers a soft and secure solution. The silicone foam ear cushions are easily adjusted and designed to help reduce the risk trauma to the ears during extended wear.

Intersurgical EcoLite™ oxygen mask design allows the elastic to be fitted below the patient's ear and the Nasal cannula with Intersurgical EarGuards™ incorporates soft silicone foam cushions around the ear, both designed to help reduce the risk of trauma to the patients ears.
