MGF’s Lifting By Design Team worked closely with Keltbray Lifting to safely relocate a 32-Tonne Power Conversion System (PCS) Unit.

The lift presented a number of challenges, including an unbalanced centre of gravity and limited lifting capacities of the cranes at the required working radii. To overcome these challenges, MGF engineered a bespoke 12m x 3m Spreader Frame with a strong focus on weight optimisation, enabling the lift to be executed safely within the available capacity margins.
