A building materials manufacturer contacted us to repair & refurbish a Yale CPV 5t chain hoist. After an initial assessment, a large number of spare parts were ordered, including a new powered trolley, new hoist brake, new hoist chain and many other internal parts. The hoist needed cleaning from the many years of service. All the new parts were fitted, the hoist load tested and returned to the customer to be put back into service for many years to come.

Further to our post from last week, The two jib cranes & one replacement jib arm have now been installed, tested & commissioned at our customers premises. Fitted with GIS electric chain hoist with push travel trolleys.

Working from a customers approved drawings, we manufactured two fender lifting arms, SWL 15 tonne & proof tested to 30 tonne. Supplied as part of the project was a 6.8m long MOD50 spreader beam c/w shackles & 7 metre long 37.5t 2 leg chain sling

Using a 180t mobile crane, we were asked to load test a generator skid base for a customer. Using a number of large denomination test weights we applied a load and took various measurements whilst under test. Pre and post load test weld crack testing was also carried out.
