It’s all about the swarms this week 🤦‍♂️ even the cold spell, splitting colonies and giving them more room to perch hasn’t worked in some cases…they haven’t utilised their extra space indicating possibly that the cold weather has caused them to huddle together in the bottom boxes forcing an inevitable swarm 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝… frustrating but it’s warming up so need to sort the problems and move on ….

Sometimes 🐝 🐝 🐝 regret their decision 🤦‍♂️ swarming just before a cold snap and deciding that the perfectly good new home you have provided them with is just not good enough … after a bit of gentle persuasion the lure of a warm bed and food swayed them
