DDC DDC supplies, installs & maintains medical macerators, bedpan washers & infection control equipment for hospitals & care homes worldwide.

If your needs are machinery, servicing, planned maintenance or a full solution, we can support you. There is a real and growing need to protect patients, service users and clinicians from the risk of infection. The rise of super bugs and the migration of major contagions like Ebola make the need to impose strict infection control systems essential to the smooth and safe running of your hospital or

care facility. Outbreaks are distressing for those affected and put your business under undue strain. DDC Dolphin was founded on the ideal of safe guarding the vulnerable and front line clinicians from the risk of infectious diseases through innovation excellence. Since 1991 we have invested in new technologies such as our anti-microbial coating and hands-free interface, to bring you the most efficient, safest solutions for your sluice/dirty utility room provision. It is our ambition to work with you to devise a complete sluice/dirty utility solution that not only meets your business needs but your professional standards as well.

Today, we celebrated 35 years of DDC the best way we know how: together.

There was pizza, plenty of laughs, and some very competitive egg-and-spoon racing. We also held a company-wide Kahoot quiz to make sure our brilliant Field Service Team could join in on the fun from afar!

But more importantly, it was a chance to celebrate the people who have helped shape DDC over the last 35 years, from long-standing team members to those who have only recently joined the journey.

Thank you to everyone who made today such a brilliant celebration, and to every person who has played a part in DDC’s story so far.

Here’s to 35 years of teamwork, innovation and safer healthcare. 🥂

When Azalea Court Care Home wanted to improve its moving and handling equipment, it compared three overhead ceiling hoist suppliers before choosing DDC.

The new system has helped make lifting equipment available exactly where it's needed, reducing time spent locating mobile hoists and supporting quicker, more dignified resident transfers. It also offers the flexibility to move hoist cassettes between rooms, helping maximise equipment use while reducing downtime and maintenance.

Here's what the Estate Manager had to say:

"When I first saw DDC overheads demonstrated, I knew they were the overheads for us. Out of the three overhead systems that I looked at, DDC are miles ahead of their competition."

📖 Global Infection Control: Validated Infrastructure from Japan to Canada

Sluice room bottlenecks happen worldwide. When healthcare facilities compromise on machinery to save upfront capital, clinical pathways stall and maintenance bills skyrocket.

We analysed four global healthcare leaders who eliminated their waste bottlenecks using DDC Dolphin infrastructure:

✅ Juntendo University Hospital (Japan)
✅ Farrer Park Hospital (Singapore)
✅ Stella Maris Aged Care (Australia)
✅ St John's Care Facility (Canada)

Lower reactive maintenance costs, protected staff, and proven whole-life ROI are universal metrics.
