Exhaust systems on diesels have never been the cleanest engine components.

Modern diesels are strangled by emission controls & when they start to go wrong they can be all manner of headaches ( and dash warnings) ⚠️

The lovely Ingenium engine has these lovely fine mesh filters to the EGR valves that blocks up with soot causing management lights as the sensors detect insufficient flow of exhaust gases.

Some would say, why not do away with the mesh, but unfortunately the sensors are sensitive enough to detect the flow as too high!

Had an early Range Rover L322 come in feeling a little deflated, the owner had suspected one of the front air bag struts had let go.

Upon further inspection we found both the front struts had failed. She’s riding level again & back cruising along in comfort.

The new go to place for all your custom and standard fit stainless steel exhaust systems and upgrades.

Our new team member Robert has jumped in with both feet showcasing his welding & tube bending talent.

We’ve always been proud of our fit and forget galvanised chassis service, now we can offer complete stainless steel exhaust systems.

A few years ago we completely rebuilt a Defender 90 300tdi Van including paintwork & this week it came back in for a new exhaust.

A Defender with built in ham slicers for brake discs. The discs had worn down so much to the point they shattered during removal from the hub.
Two of the calipers were in such a bad condition they left a pool of brake fluid every time it stopped.
The brake lines also left little to be desired so we also remade Cunifer lines & new flexi hoses throughout…safety first!

Currently working on a Discovery Sport MHEV (Mild Hybrid) system. These DCDC Converter are prone to failure across the JLR range & we are fully equipped to replace and program these systems.

As you can see they do take up some space on the car, slung underneath.

A common point to note is the ventilation & cooling system for these modules are located under the passenger seat - which need to be kept clear & we check these on routine servicing.

Please leave this area free of shoes, paperwork, clothing, children’s toys etc.
