⏰ Hours: Mon–Fri, 7.30am–4pm + Overtime
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic to join our growing team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our fleet of heavy goods vehicles is maintained to the highest safety and performance standards. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs, trailers, and related equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues
• Conduct inspections and MOT preparations to DVSA standards
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Work both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent (preferred)
• Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic or Technician
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, diagnostics, and repair procedures
• Valid HGV Class 1 or 2 licence (advantageous but not essential)
• Ability to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively
