It’s Men’s Health Week, a good reminder to take a moment and check in on how you’re doing, both at work and at home. 💙

Manufacturing can be physically and mentally demanding at times, so we focus on keeping things safe and supportive on the shop floor.

Our 4-day working week has been hugely positive, giving the team more time to rest, switch off properly, and enjoy life outside of work.

But really, it’s the simple things like good communication, teamwork, and a culture where people genuinely look out for each other that matter most.

Small things done consistently make a real difference. 🤝

Expect a great mix of local farmers’ produce, handmade crafts, and plants - all showcasing the talent and small businesses we’re lucky to have around us.

As a local manufacturing business based in North Walsham, it’s great to see the town centre busy with events that bring people together and support local trade. 🤝

Meet Brad 👋

Brad is our Stores Manager and he plays a key role in keeping everything moving behind the scenes. From making sure orders go out on time to keeping stock organised and under control, he’s all about making sure the day-to-day operation runs smoothly.

Brad’s journey at Ladbrook Mfg began as Production Operator and, through hard work and progression, moved into Senior Storeman and now Stores Manager.

We're proud to have Brad part of our dedicated and friendly team.

It's Mental Health Awareness Week 🧠, which is a good reminder of just how important mental wellbeing is, both in and outside of work.

We moved to a 4-day working week and have seen a really positive difference. Team morale is better, work-life balance has improved, and there’s more energy and focus when everyone’s in.

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach, but small changes can make a real difference to how people feel day-to-day.

Our team has spent years on the workshop floor learning how to handle complex parts, avoiding issues, working through tricky parts, figuring things out, and keeping jobs moving.

Of course, machines help, but it’s really the people behind them that keep everything running. We’re really proud to have such a hardworking team. 💪
