Metal Supermarkets Manchester (Trafford Park) Offers instant access to any metal, any size, cut

Congratulations to Kevin Berera, our Metal My Way Grand Prize winner! He and a guest are heading to SEMA in Las Vegas this November.

Kevin's winning project is a giant RC buggy. It's 5 feet long, weighs about 160 lbs and runs on a 70cc engine. He designed and machined almost every part himself, from the welded tube chassis to the 6061 aluminium components. He even built the tube notcher and bender he used. It took seven years of weekends, with metal from Metal Supermarkets in Vancouver.

Cut in half and rebuilt!

Colin Barbalace took a 2007 Toyota Tacoma, chopped it just behind the cabin, and rebuilt the entire back half from steel tubing — custom suspension, full roll cage, and stainless and aluminium paneling throughout. All designed and fabricated in-house with MIG and TIG welding, using metal from Metal Supermarkets in Charleston, SC.
