In 1995 we imported our first Italian pizza oven and shortly afterward our nationwide dealer network began to take shape. 20 years after its conception, Cater-Bake UK now represents a number of high quality brands, including the renown Italian oven manufacturer ZANOL

Big news from Cater-Bake!

We're delighted to welcome James Hickley to the Cater-Bake team as our new Sales Leader.

James isn't new to the hospitality and catering equipment industry. His career has taken him from Nisbets in Bristol to key account management roles, and even across the world to Australia, where what was meant to be a gap year turned into an exciting career opportunity.

One of the things that attracted James to Cater-Bake was our reputation.

As he puts it, "When customers stay with a business for years, it's a sign you're doing something right."

With a passion for building relationships, understanding customers' needs, and helping businesses find the right solutions, James is looking forward to meeting both existing and new customers over the coming months.

You'll spot him at industry events, customer sites, and making/testing pizzas in the CaterBase kitchen before long 🍕😄

A pretty good way to put the equipment to work.

A pizza day with a purpose. ❤️🍕

Using the Zanolli Forni e Macchine 06/04 electric conveyor oven, we recently made pizzas to give away to two local care homes for children with learning disabilities.

We know it was only a small thing, but we hope it brought a little happiness, comfort and fun to their day.

We’re really grateful to have had the chance to do it.

A little behind the scenes from a recent training day.

The best way to get to grips with catering equipment is to use it exactly as it is intended to be used.

For this session, that meant hands-on testing, practical training, and a lot of pizza.
A good way to make sure everything works exactly as it should for clients, and definitely one of the more popular training days.

We put it through its paces at the Nisbets NCEC demo kitchen in Bristol…
And it didn’t disappoint.

We always say we can help with a huge range of equipment…
But sometimes we think people don’t quite realise how random that range can be 😅

So I thought we'd share something you’d never expect us to source.

If a customer needs it, chances are we’ve either got it, sourced it, or already had a conversation about how to make it happen.

It’s one of the things we are most proud of, being able to say “yes, we can help with that” more often than not.

Straight in at the deep end, or straight into the kitchen.

Antony has recently joined the team, so it was only right to get him hands-on with the equipment from day one.

There’s no better way to get to grips with our range than using it properly for yourself.

All of this took place in the Cater-Bake kitchen at our Liverpool site, the space where customers can come in, work with their own ingredients, and see exactly how the equipment performs for their products.

We’ve been working on some brilliant installations lately and we have to say, the STIMA fast cook oven is definitely keeping us on our toes.

It’s been going into some really cool locations, especially where space isn’t exactly conventional. Tight footprints, front-of-house setups, unusual layouts and yet it just fits.

If you’re looking for a fast cook solution in a space that doesn’t follow the rulebook, this is one worth talking about.
