There is a big drive in the Construction Industry to re-use soils on-site in Earthworks applications and therefore promote highly sustainable practices. By re-using soils on-site this facilitates the reduction of material sent to Landfill and the import of quarried aggregates back to the site. Both of these activities involve a high number of Lorry Movements; Carbon emissions and particulate pollutants. The main problem that prohibits this sustainable practice is due to inclement weather. Heavy Rainfall leads to excess water ingress into the soils, this reduces the structural performance of the soil, which renders it unsuitable for re-use. The Solution - ‘Geo-Dry’.

‘Geo-Dry’ is an eco-friendly additive that when added to the soil reduces the moisture content to optimal levels therefore allowing correct compaction of the soil which in turn leads to the optimal density and load bearing being achieved. Soils can now be re-used on Construction Sites all year round with the addition of Geo-Dry.
