This marks the third royal award for the Oliver Valves group of companies, following Oliver Valvetek’s Queen’s Awards in 2012 and 2022.

On the shop floor at Oliver Twinsafe: 12" Class 600 Double Block and Bleed valves, manufactured from LF2 carbon steel and equipped with a mix of gearboxes and Rotork electric actuators.

These valves will be integrated into a gas metering skid for the Barzan Sales Gas Diversion package, part of the Qatar Energy II LNG Project. Once installed at an onshore location in Qatar, they’ll play a vital role in advancing the country’s LNG capabilities.

On the shop floor this week: 1/2" hydraulically actuated gate valves destined for BP’s Glen Lyon field, supporting the new FPSO vessel on behalf of the Schiehallion co-venturers, Shell and OMV.

Designed for the challenging conditions of the West of Shetland, these valves are rated to 10,000 psi with a seat seal capable of withstanding up to 20,000 psi—a testament to our engineering expertise.

The Glen Lyon FPSO serves as the hub for the 450-million-barrel Quad204 development, a vital project in the North Sea’s energy future.

Another project from our shop floor. These valves are set to be part of the Gas Lift Compressor Package (WPOX) project, supporting TNS PTTEP in their Bundled Phase 3 (G1-1E) development. This initiative covers wellhead platforms, associated pipelines, brownfield modifications, and critical tie-ins.

These A105-grade, 20mm bore valves are fully qualified to Fugitive Emission ISO 15848-1:2015 (Class B) standards and undergo rigorous production testing in line with ISO 15848-2:2015. Our commitment to quality includes comprehensive NDE testing, such as Magnetic Particle Inspection, Liquid Penetrant Inspection, and Positive Material Identification on key pressure components.
