Mercantile Met Tech is set up to offer a wide field of products, all designed, manufactured and installed, if required, by our own internally trained and directly employed skilled operatives. We utilise the power and efficiency of CAD (Computer Aided Design) technology for all design and drawing. Our in-house CAD design, drawing and programming services enable us to create highly complex, accurate working diagrams and manufacturing templates for all aspects of our work. We are also able to import client’s existing drawing files directly into our software, allowing the flexibility to make modifications, or if required generate completely new working plans. 3D Inventor Software – Following a 12 month period of piloting three dimensional drawing, in January 2009, Mercantile Met Tech invested in 3D (Inventor) software for all in-house CAD operators. In addition to the many benefits 3D CAD drawing offers, 3D Inventor interacts directly with our in-house plant, CNC Radan, software used for fabrication, allowing a seamless transition from drawing to manufacture.
