We’re delighted to be bringing the FUNFAIR to Pateley Bridge, Nidderdale Showground, building up to the fantastic Nidderdale Show – affectionately known as “Pateley Show” – on Sunday 20th September 2026!

Thursday 17th September – from 5pm
Friday 18th September – from 5pm
Saturday 19th September – from 2pm
Sunday 20th September – SHOW DAY – from 10am

🌾 NIDDERDALE SHOW – SUNDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER
This isn’t just a funfair – it’s one of North Yorkshire’s great traditional agricultural days out, celebrating farming, animals, rural life, food, crafts and the countryside.
Nidderdale Show regularly welcomes around 15,000 visitors and features one of the finest exhibitions of animals in the country.
🐄 ANIMALS & LIVESTOCK
Expect a fantastic variety of livestock and animal competitions, including:

🐴 Hunters & ridden horses

There are even single and doubles sheepdog trials plus a Young Handler class.
🚜 TRACTORS, MACHINERY & COUNTRY LIFE
If you love tractors and agricultural machinery, make sure you have a good walk around! The official programme includes vintage tractors, commercial vehicles and machinery, along with a forestry exhibition and traditional dry-stone walling.

🛍️ OVER 170 TRADE STANDS!
Nidderdale Show attracts over 170 different trade stand exhibitors every year, so leave yourself plenty of time for a browse!
You’ll also find competitions and displays covering horticulture, farm crops, vegetables, flowers, home produce, handicrafts, art, photography, walking sticks and children’s classes.
🐎 SHOW JUMPING IN THE MAIN RING
The show jumping carries on throughout the day. The current 2026 schedule has junior and senior classes in the Main Ring from approximately 1:25pm–2:25pm, with further affiliated Senior Newcomers/Open and Foxhunter/Open competition from approximately 4pm onwards.
⏰ MAKE A FULL DAY OF IT!
The agricultural show itself starts bright and early at 7:45am, beginning with judging of the Open Equitation class, and is expected to continue until approximately 5:30–6pm, concluding with the show-jumping competitions.
Trade stands and marquees are expected to be open approximately 9am–5:30pm, with food and refreshments available at various locations around the showground throughout the day.
👨👩👧👦 GREAT FOR FAMILIES
There is also a dedicated Family Area, situated beside the Food Court and Main Ring, where families can sit, have lunch and watch the entertainment. Facilities include a nappy-changing area, bottle warming and a quiet nursing area.

🚗 SHOW-DAY CAR PARKING IS FREE
The organisers advise visitors to follow the Show signs rather than relying on Sat Nav when approaching Pateley Bridge, as traffic can become busy on Show Day.
