Our crutches are silent with a squidgy neoprene grip which is removable and washable. The cuff is closed, but can be removed to have an open cuff. They are adjustable on the main stem and between the grip and the cuff. Coolcrutches are sold singly and in pairs. They come in a wide different colours/patterns, including black and white spots and leopard print. We have had amazing feedback, with one permanently disabled lady saying it was like swapping a rackety old truck for a Ferrari!

Funny how many assumptions people make about something that’s simply there to help you get around.

Walking aids aren’t just for older people, you don’t have to use one every minute of every day to need one and you certainly don’t have to settle for something that hurts (or you hate the look of).

Sometimes a little extra support can make a big difference to what you get out of life ❤️

One of the hardest things about disability and mental health is so much of it is completely invisible.

I can look absolutely fine and still be having a really s**t day.

I can be working, laughing, answering messages, getting things done and still feel like I’m holding it together by my fingernails.

So if someone seems a bit quieter, slower or just not quite themselves, please remember - you rarely know what’s going on underneath ❤️

Tommy was a new amputee when this was filmed, learning to navigate a completely different version of everyday life.

Mobility aids aren’t just about getting from A to B, they’re about confidence, independence and finding your feet again, however that looks for you.
