Emergency breakdown? No problem for the Ace Metalworx team. 💪

We were called out to one of our long-term customers after a major failure on a 150-tonne silo flow feed system that keeps product moving through the factory. With production down, time was critical.

After removing the unit and carrying out a full inspection, we diagnosed:
🔧 Collapsed bearings
🔧 Shaft worn beyond tolerance
🔧 Failed flight arms
🔧 Multiple additional mechanical issues

Our team immediately got to work — 3D scanning the damaged components, creating detailed drawings, and manufacturing replacement parts to get everything back to spec.

Once complete, we fully reassembled and reinstalled the system, getting the factory back online and production running again with minimal downtime.

Another successful turnaround and another happy customer. ✅

Another one out the door in between the bigger jobs 👊

We’ve just finished these custom dog boxes, built a bit different to the usual. The brief was to try something new — so these come with a separate radiator compartment to keep things warm and comfortable for the dogs.

Built from solid steel and fully panelled with a clean riveted finish, these are proper heavy-duty units — no flimsy stuff here.

Features include:
• Separate heated compartment with vented panel
• Dog flap to help retain heat
• Drain holes for easy wash down
• Adjustable feet for uneven ground
• Tough, hard-wearing finish

Everything about these is designed to last and take abuse — exactly how it should be.

Another batch of aluminium parts completed last week for a transport company’s lorries.
We’ve been extremely busy in the workshop lately, working through a full schedule of jobs and keeping production moving. Always good to see these parts finished and ready to go back into service.

💪 Wall Supporting Props – Job Smashed Out! 🧱

We’ve just wrapped up the supply and install of these wall supporting props, all fabricated to spec from the structural engineer’s report.
We submitted our own fabrication drawings for approval, got the go-ahead, and got the job done — fully galvanised and then installed in just one day.

The customer, Demolition Services, seemed well impressed with the finish 💯
