Last week, we hosted our first Apprenticeship Assessment Day, welcoming 15 shortlisted candidates for the next stage of our recruitment process.

The day included an introduction to Bridmet, a Q&A session with our Board of Directors, practical group activities, and the opportunity to meet members of our team and current apprentices.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to a successful day. We were impressed by the quality of candidates on display, and selecting our future apprentices will be no easy task!

Let’s talk health & safety! 👷‍♂️

People often ask how we manage to give young people such hands-on work experience opportunities - a lot of it comes down to solid risk assessments and proper health & safety inductions.

Great to attend the Time to Shine event at Yeovil College yesterday! The speed-interview format gave learners preparing for apprenticeships valuable real-world, quick-fire interview experience with local employers.

It was our first time attending, and we hope everyone we met came away feeling more confident for their future careers.

2026 Apprenticeships – Applications Now Closed!

All submitted applications are currently under review.

Our apprenticeship opportunities for 2026 are now closed and will reopen in November.

This year we carried out a whopping 50 interviews - the most we have ever done. Thank you to everyone who applied and took the time to meet with us.

Applications for our 2027 intake will open in November 2026, and we’d recommend applying early.

WOW! What a day!

We attended “Shaping Tomorrow’s Talent: The Employer’s Role in Careers Education” at BattleLab, Dorset Innovation Park, hosted by Sarah Farmer (BBC South) and organised by Dorset Careers Hub.

Great to see our very own Laura Mackay on the panel discussing future talent, work experience, and employer engagement in education.

This week, we’ve welcomed Amelia and Henry from Beaminster, who are joining us for the week.

It’s great to support young people as they explore future career opportunities, and we’re looking forward to seeing them develop over the coming days! 😊

Great to attend the Exeter College Engineering, Aerospace & Automotive Expo today - our first time at this event!

A little further afield for us, but definitely well worth the trip. As a business with both current and previous apprentices who have studied with Exeter College, it was great to showcase what we do.

A really positive day with lots of interest. We also can’t quite believe we’re already talking about apprenticeship opportunities for 2027!
