🔁 Case study throwback

Accessibility was front and centre at Peabody’s St John’s Hill regeneration in SW11. As part of this landmark social housing upgrade, nine Stannah Xtralift passenger lifts were installed to support 153 apartments across two residential blocks, ensuring safe, reliable vertical transport in a high‑use environment.

Designed for durability and inclusive access, the lifts included firefighter models, vandal‑resistant features and stainless‑steel cars - helping deliver a scheme that later won Best Large Housing Development at the 2016 Brick Awards.
