So we are pleased to announce that we have raised over £2,000!!! We are estimating around £2,200 after a final count, all this for the amazing Andover Mind

We would like to thank all of those who sponsored us and our soapbox, and thank you to those who also took the time to come down and support us on the day and to support a local Andover community event.

Another thank you to Kev and the team at Andover SoapBox Derby for a fantastic day out and a well organised event. We are looking forward to next year's Soapbox Derby.

WOW WOW WOW!!

What a day, what a fantastic event and what an absolute brilliant turn out for the first ever Andover SoapBox Derby in aid of Andover Mind

We have had just as an amazing time as all of you spectators, this was a spectical that no one could have forseen being such a hit, a total of 21 amazing teams, with 21 individual designs, ideas and craziness brought to life.

From start to finish this has been an incredible journey, from building to testing the chassis down the local BMX track, then towing it behind a van at 36mph, we knew we would be fast and guess what, for a truck as aero dynamic as a brick we reached an impressive 20mph beating our rivals to a little in the pit bet 😉 unfortunately that was our only little win of the day and the top 3 teams in both categories were absolutely fantastic.

I can assure you, we will be back next year, bigger, bolder and faster!!

Can we please ask anyone with photos of our little truck or big truck on the day please comment so we can see how many smiles we got.

We will be announcing soon how much sponsorship we have raised for Andover Mind so please keep an eye out 👀

So the time is nearly here for the Andover SoapBox Derby in aid of Andover Mind we thought it would be nice to give you a glimpse/tease of our soapbox.

If this doesn't get you excited wait until 1pm tomorrow and the unvailing video will be live for you all to see!! So another weekend over and another weekend spent building our soap box ready for Andover SoapBox Derby in aid of Andover Mind.

We are nearing completion of the build, a few tweeks coming over the next couple of weeks however our soap box is looking incredible!! We would like to thank all the people who have sponsored us so far, we know there are more of you out there and we will find you. 😁 We would also like to thank the local businesses who have and are continuing to help along the way.

Soapbox update: Andover SoapBox Derby in aid of Andover Mind

After a busy Bank Holiday weekend we can safely say we have made massive progress on the soapbox, it has gone from a pile of parts to a race winning machine (not that we are competitive) it's been built and tested within 3 days! We will be taking sponsors in the work shop so don't be surprised if you are not allowed to leave without sponsoring us or head over to the just giving page on Andover SoapBox Derby

Make sure you keep Sunday 29th May free, racing starts from 1pm, there will be plenty there to entertain all the family.
