Brunton Rally 17th & 18th October

The year of the Fergie System. Celebrating 80 years of this fabulous revolutionary little tractor.

We will continue with the Fegie challenges at our rally where teams of 3 will race against the clock to change a clutch in these simple tractors.
There will be some rules!

In the first instance, get your entry in for a display exhibit.

What a weekend! 🚜
24 non-stop hours of ploughing with an 80 year old tractor.

Andrew Mason had the original idea of challenging Fergie and he and 9 others made an impressive job of ploughing the field - endorsed by a prestigious ploughing judge who was in the area. 👏👏👏

Fergie used 64 litres of diesel and the competition winner, Richard Smith, was only 500mls out with his guess!

The money raised for GNAAS is being put together with other funds we've raised so far this year and will be sent accordingly.

We've had some fantastic feedback about the quality of the ploughing and about the celebration of Fergie's birthday generally. 🎉🎂
And importantly, the club members & their families & friends had the very best weekend, finished off with a BBQ on Monday.

Words I've heard today regarding the 24 hour challenge:

Ryan Craig is the best commentator in the country. 💙

Sun cream. Cake. Oil. Sun cream. Grease. Sun cream!!!🥵

Our members really are better than yours. 🥰💪👏
