We are proud to announce the successful installation and commissioning of a high-capacity vertical transportation system at the Olivet Apartment project. 🏢✨
Located in the historic Lideta district, directly opposite the prestigious Ethiopian Institute of Architecture, Building Construction and City Development (EiABC), this project stands as a testament to modern engineering in a center of academic excellence.
Project Technical Highlights:
• System: 14-Stop Machine Room (MR) Passenger Elevator
• Capacity: 1050 KG (Heavy-duty performance for residential comfort)
• Precision: Advanced control systems for smooth travel across 14 levels.

For a building located in front of the nation’s premier architecture and building college, the standards for this installation were exceptionally high. Our team at Chen Engineering PLC delivered a solution that matches the structural integrity and aesthetic demands of the surrounding institutional landscape.
By integrating a 1050 kg capacity system, we have ensured that the Olivet Apartment can handle the vertical flow of residents with the efficiency and safety required for modern urban living in Addis Ababa.
