👉Jetzt bewerben: Trauma Lion Pitch 2026

Innovationen vorantreiben, Ideen sichtbar machen und die Zukunft der Unfallchirurgie mitgestalten – genau darum geht es beim wissenschaftlichen Wettbewerb „Trauma Lion Pitch“, der von der DGU im Rahmen des DKOU 2026 veranstaltet und von uns unterstützt wird. 🚀

Teilnehmen dürfen Ärztinnen und Ärzte in Weiterbildung, Fachärzte in Orthopädie und Unfallchirurgie (bis 2 Jahre nach dem Facharzt, Altersgrenze 38 Jahre) sowie OP-Personal aus diesen Bereichen.

Es werden drei Preise vergeben: 10.000 Euro für den ersten Platz und jeweils 5.000 Euro für den zweiten und dritten Platz – der erste Platz erhält zudem die „Trauma Lion Trophy“.

Wissenschaftlich begründete Projektskizzen zu den Themen neue Implantate, Nachhaltigkeit und Technologie-Integration in der Unfallchirurgie werden bis zum 15. Juli 2026 von der DGU-Geschäftsstelle entgegengenommen.

Innovative solutions x established workflow

➡️ Most TMJ prostheses are based on the ball-and-socket principle. This prevents the complex movement of the lower jaw from being fully reproduced.

We have modified the design of our IPS Implants® TMJ Prosthesis to incorporate the fundamental anatomic characteristics of the native condyle. This design aims to help patients achieve a more natural movement post-operatively. The movements include opening and closing the mouth, lateral movements, advancement, and retraction of the lower jaw. ✔️
