Aus Bewegung wird Technik.
Wie aus einer Idee im Betriebssport ein spannendes Abschlussprojekt wurde!

Was als einfache Idee im Betriebssport entstanden ist, hat unser Auszubildender Julian zu einem vollständigen technischen Projekt weiterentwickelt – und damit seine Prüfung erfolgreich abgeschlossen. 🎉

Entstanden ist ein Reaktions- und Ausdauertrainingsspiel auf Arduino-Basis:
LEDs in mehreren Buzzern leuchten zufällig auf und müssen in kürzester Zeit korrekt gedrückt werden. Richtige Eingaben bringen Punkte, falsche kosten Punkte. Akustische Signale geben direkt Feedback, ein Display zeigt Spielzeit, Punktestand sowie Tages- und Allzeit-Highscores. 🔥

Die Besonderheit:
Das Projekt bleibt kein Prototyp. Es wird künftig aktiv im Betrieb eingesetzt – unter anderem im Betriebssport, wo Koordination und Reaktion gleichzeitig gefordert sind.

Auf dem Weg dorthin hat Julian typische Herausforderungen aus der Praxis selbst gelöst: von der Chip-Programmierung über die Abstimmung der LED-Helligkeit bis hin zur Umsetzung auf einer kompakten Testplatine.

Genau diese Verbindung aus Entwicklung, Fehlersuche und praktischer Anwendung ist Teil der Ausbildung bei SETEX in Mengerskirchen. Projekte entstehen nicht für die Schublade, sondern für den realen Einsatz im Unternehmen. ✨

SaigonTEX 2026 – Day 1 wrapped up.
Strong first day in Ho Chi Minh City.
Conversations quickly moved past product talk and into real production questions: where processes drift, where corrections start, and how to regain control without adding complexity.
What came up repeatedly:
the need for clearer decisions on the shopfloor, fewer iterations in dyeing, and reliable transparency across departments.
Instead of adding another layer, the focus is on making existing setups work better.
A practical retrofit approach opens up new possibilities for using advanced technologies in existing production environments, with manageable effort and limited impact on ongoing operations.

Knit-Tech 2026 in Tirupur has started. Our team from India and colleagues from the SETEX head office are on site and ready for the first conversations.

At booth SP3, we’re showing how real production data helps knitting mills keep fabrics on spec and deliveries on time. From OrgaTEX X3 MES and E390 controllers to FabricInspector Mobile, the focus is on practical demos and ideas that make dyeing and finishing processes more transparent and consistent.

Hinter uns liegt ein Jahr, in dem sich viel bewegt hat – bei SETEX, innerhalb der Textile Solutions Group und gemeinsam mit unseren Partnern weltweit. Cairo tomorrow, Alexandria mid-week: SETEX is part of the German business delegation in Egypt. The program brings industry briefings, B2B meetings and site visits for textile manufacturers focused on modernizing dyeing and finishing.
On site for SETEX, Arnd Decker (Sales Manager) will outline how OrgaTEX MES and SETEX controllers deliver Right-First-Time dyeing, shorter cycles and transparent energy/water KPIs. Also how Active Energy Management works proactively in process, so savings happen in running production, not just in the report. Lab-to-Bulk with Datacolor shortens the path from lab approval to stable production runs.
