We’re proud to support the Canberra Potters Members’ Exhibition, sponsoring the Keane Ceramics Emerging Artist Award and the Keane Ceramics Award for Handbuilding this year.

As Canberra Potters puts it, “From emerging makers to established artists, our 2026 Members’ Exhibition celebrates the creativity, skill and imagination of our ceramics community.” It’s wonderful to see this creativity reflected in the beautiful work of this year’s award recipients.

Congratulations to Rayna Andersson-Lee for ‘Char,’ winner of the Keane Ceramics Emerging Artist Award, and Moraig McKenna for ‘Under My Skin – Blue and White,’ winner of the Keane Ceramics Award for Handbuilding.

Judged by Dr Patsy Hely, both selections are thoroughly deserving of recognition, and we’re delighted to be able to support and celebrate these talented artists.

The exhibition continues at Canberra Potters Gallery until Sunday 1 November 2026. Entry is free.

What clay projects are we all working on this weekend?

R E P O S T // Ashley Shell Trimming a toasty bowl 🍞

I love working with Keane Ceramics Toast stoneware clay and have found using the back of a spoon after trimming to be a perfect and cost effecting way to burnish this highly grogged clay.

I have special plans for this bowl so stay tuned!

We are incredibly excited for Georgia Boseley!!

Georgia has won Best Emerging Indigenous Artist at the Melbourne Fringe festival for her exhibition Weaving the Everywhen - proudly sponsored by Keane Ceramics. The show is on display at Koorie Heritage Trust until 22nd November 26.

We’ve received so many incredibly kind messages off the back of sharing the challenges we have been going through with production.

We know this situation has been frustrating. We know it has meant delays, unavailable clay, unexpected issues and plenty of questions. We feel that frustration too, and we’ve been working hard behind the scenes every single day to get things back on track.
