Celebrating 20 Years in business

From humble beginnings in 2006 ..... today we celebrate 20 years in business, and we're still fortunate to have some of the same familiar faces with us.
What many people may not realise is that our original team had already worked side by side for years before this business began - making it feel more like a continuation than a starting point.

What began as a close-knit team has continued to grow with those who've joined us along the way, and that's something we're incredibly proud of.

We're grateful for every contribution, every milestone, and everyone who's helped shape who we are today.

Following construction of the new turning lane in Shepparton designed by our engineers, our surveyors were out on site last week completing an As Constructed Survey (ASCON) to verify pavement and bitumen layers in line with contractor requirements.

It's always great to see the project coming together on site 🚧👷‍♂️

At CS&A, we understand the devastation that has occurred due to multiple fires occurring across our regional communities. Some of our staff have been there, as CFA volunteer members and/or with clean up and recovery efforts, and have seen the devastation firsthand.

Once the first responders and relief crews wind down and move on, the task moves from recovery to rebuilding. That’s where CS&A can help.

We are offering a FREE initial phone or online consultation for fire affected landowners in the Hume Region that have been affected by the Longwood (includes Ruffy and Yarck etc), Walwa, Goomalibee, Muckatah and Yarroweyah fires who may need specialist advice from our Planners, Surveyors or Engineers.

These services include:
- Re-establishment of Title Boundaries
- Feature Surveys or locating underground services
- Planning Applications for replacement dwellings or structures
- Requirements for specialist reports such as bushfire statements
- Planning process and fees
- Earthworks and drainage for access and infrastructure

CS&A will offer reduced fees for affected residents who require survey, planning or engineering works. CS&A will also liaise with councils in affected areas to discuss fee waivers or reduced planning fees for affected residents.

Our Managing Director, Scott Golightly has been Missing in Action for the last 10 days because he has been assisting with the Longwood fires from the outset. Some of the work he has been doing to assist the community includes:-

- Many hours on the Locksley CFA tanker
- Assisting the community with evacuation of equipment and livestock
- Codination of emergency fencing crews
- Assisting landowners with emergency fencing and stock containment
- Organising the donation of fencing supplies
- Assisting the Ruffy community with critical infrastructure and service

Our staff have also been getting involved with Mark Bilney delivering donated supplies and Sahan and Mark both assisting with fencing.

If you would like to donate, the fencing donations is a great option, via WB Hunter Rural and reference “FENCEDON”

The community led response to this disaster has been amazing and a real reminder of why we love this region.

As the recovery phase begins, Scott and CS&A will be assisting in everyway we can, to help communities rebuild and prosper.
