…. And so it begins!
Warmth on our skin, and we can feel the seasons changing.
Our seedling department is now restocked with a variety of vegetables, including tomatoes from seedlings to more advanced.
We also have a range of marigolds, which are not only beautiful, but also keep pests away when planted with your vegetables.
We also have a variety of petunias, which will bring splashes of colour all throughout the coming warmer months

Thank you everyone for bringing in towels and blankets and the for the lambs, much appreciated.
Their names are Jeremy and Jamima.
They are coming along well, and starting to do zoomies in the aisles. 🤣
Jeremy helped Bob with the stock feed stock take, while Jamima helped me check in the new load of plants which arrived today. 🌿🌳🐑🐑
The lambs will be back at the farm tomorrow, and returning to the shop every Tuesday and Thursday, for probably (and hopefully) 8 weeks

I’ve had to bring these two little darlings in to work today. Their mother had a difficult birth and can’t look after them, so I will be raising these poddies. I was thinking I would pop into the op shop today and get some old towels and blankets… but I forgot that they are closed today. If anyone has some old things the lambs can use for bedding and clean up it would be well received ❤️🐑🐑
Luckily we have milk replacer, colostrum and teats in the shop. 🙂

As many of you are aware, we have been dealing with ongoing cases of theft.
This includes those people who shove stuff in their pockets while they are in the store, sometimes large items regularly, and others do it occasionally, thinking that small thefts are ok
This also includes those people who say that they have three sticks of timber or three bags of concrete, but they take an extra one or two. This includes the people who take bales of hay or stock feed from the container…
It also includes those people who make an account, and never pay it.
All of these things are theft. It then affects our ability to buy new stock and get it on the shelf to have available for you when you need it.
We see these things happen, but have, until now, let it ride…
So, today we have installed total coverage high quality security cameras.
From this point forward all cases of theft will be reported to police and charges will be laid.
Unfortunately this has become necessary and hopefully now we can operate this hardware store to its full potential.
To everyone else, thank you for your support and understanding, it is much appreciated and we love being here

Feel like growing your own? 🍎🍐🍏
We now have a stock of bare rooted fruit trees as well as a few ornamentals
Linda’s experience in horticulture and self sufficiency means that we knew the best varieties to get.
Like the roses, they will soon be potted up, so if you want them cheaper, get them early while they are bare.

We now have a beautiful range of bare rooted roses in store. We will keep them bare rooted for a few weeks, and then we will be potting them up to burst their colour in Spring and Summer…. so if you would like to grab a bargain, pop in while they are still n**e 🌸

Last night we stayed up late, unpacking the Snooza order. Snooza are beautiful soft, snuggly, Australian made beds.
The dogs were very excited 🤣 they needed a new bed… they both chose the Lux Bubble Fur Cuddler. I put one down for them at first, and they made it very clear that they wanted two of these. Luckily I ordered extra in their size.
Snooza beds are wonderful for all dogs but are especially great for soothing anxious dogs.
We have sizes to suit little puppas, through to the big boofy ones. We have Silver Fox or Pewter Green.
Your woofa says she/he wants one. 🐶
