Statewide Vehicle Hoists and Repairs has been operating now for 25 years, and service most makes and models of vehicle hoists from Murwillumbah right up to Harvey Bay and as far out as Warwick and Dalby.
We are seeking to employ ASAP a new hoist service technician/general all-rounder for our business located in the Ipswich area. The majority of your workload will be servicing and repairing vehicle hoists and from time to time assisting with the installation of hoists. During slow periods, you will be assisting with yard work at our store yard (mowing etc).
We will provide full training on the installation and servicing of vehicle hoists, however as our successful candidate, a mechanical aptitude is definitely a skill you will want to possess. We are not necessarily looking for someone who has formal training but rather someone who knows the difference between vice grips and a stilsons.
We would prefer a local candidate as we start at 7am each day and you must have or be able to obtain steel cap work boots.
This position is for a full time casual week and then you will move to a permanent position after the probation period has been completed where uniforms will also be provided.

Must have:
General Mechanical knowledge
Fit and healthy as there can be heavy lifting involved
Problem solving mentality
Full open manual license
You need to be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
A high attention to detail. By this we mean you don’t take short cuts, will spend that extra 5 minutes to ensure the work is completed to a high standard and our customers are extremely satisfied with the service provided to them.

If you have the following skillset, we encourage you to apply -
Can use an Android tablet?
Able to use Microsoft Excel?
Do you have a clean and neat presentation and a happy demeanor?
Do you have excellent customer service skills?
Do you possess an excellent mechanical aptitude and good problem-solving skills?

We are a family owned and operated business that has been servicing the local area for over 20 years.
Because we are a family run small business we are looking for a candidate who is a little out of box. We are seeking to employ ASAP a new hoist service technician/general all-rounder for our business located in the Ipswich area. The majority of your work load will be servicing and repairing vehicle hoists and also from time to time assist with installations of hoists. There will also be a component where you will be assisting with yard work at our storeyard (mowing ect) and also helping the boss fix his competition 4wd's.
