Ant’s Celebration of Life

For those who would like to come and celebrate the life of Ant, we will be opening the roller door to his man cave on the 30th of May from 11am–5pm. Please feel free to stop by at any time during the day to have a beer, enjoy some ice cream, and share a story or memory of Dad.

As we welcome you into our home, we kindly ask that everyone respects Ant’s space and belongings.

There will be beer, food, and an ice cream van for everyone to enjoy.

We will also be creating a Facebook group with all the details and updates. If you would like to attend, please let us know and we can add you to the group.

We hope to see you all throughout the day as we come together to celebrate Ant.

Thank you everyone for your kind words, condolences, love and support following the passing of Anthony. It has meant so much to our family during this difficult time.

As per Anthony’s wishes, there will be a private cremation, followed by a Celebration of Life in the coming weeks.
That you all will be welcome to attend. As you can appreciate, there are still some details and arrangements we need to attend to first.

Once a date has been confirmed, we will post the details for everyone.

Again, thank you all for your kindness, support and understanding. In lieu of flowers please donate to LIsa’s Lunches who supported us at the in the final stage of Anthony’s journey x

We would like to inform you all that dad passed away this morning with mum by his side.

This is a big shock and everything that has happened with dad over the last few weeks has hit very hard for our family.

Please respect our time and the delays that will now occur during this time.

REPLIGLASS will continue to operate strong as we continue dad’s legacy.

UPDATE ON DAD

We would like to inform our customers, clients, friends, and followers of what’s been happening behind the scenes.

On the 13th of April, Dad was rushed to hospital after being unwell for 7 weeks. By the 15th of April, he was in ICU with organ failure. Thankfully, he responded to treatment and was able to come out of ICU a week later.

He was then transferred to the PA Hospital in Brisbane, where after further testing and another ICU stay, we received the diagnosis — Dad has T-cell lymphoma.

Dad also has limb-girdle muscular dystrophy, which is why he is in a wheelchair. Due to his condition, doctors have started him on a low dose of chemotherapy for 5 days to see how his body responds and whether he is strong enough to continue treatment.

He has a long road ahead and is still currently in hospital.

This has been an incredibly difficult and sudden time for our family. One day he was at work, the next everything changed.
Anthony is the backbone to Repliglass as you are all know.

We are doing our best to continue manufacturing and dispatching orders, and learning the admin tasks however there WILL BE delays during this time. As we also learn to navigate this new norm.

We truly appreciate the understanding and support from most of our customers it means more than you know.
