This car was an absolute mess and not all of it was from this accident
I had a go at trying to wheel align this car pre accident - it was 20mm shorter on the LH side
As you can see from the custom extra thick striker someone was trying to mask a problem (one of many)
Couldn't get the car straight until I cut the floor pan
Home made floor pans, Lh one 20mm too short
Obviously not it's first big hit.
Door gaps are pretty good now
Plumb Bob measurements are within a mm
Now the painter can do their job
Soon to see the race track again

Just putting the finishing touches to Steve's race car.
Reconditioning the door hinges - I was stripping the paint off noticed they had about 20 coats of paint
So - because I'm not really right in the head I decided to weigh one
They had over 10 grams of paint on each hinge
10 grams!!!!!
