As we close the doors for the last time this year, we are excited to see what next year brings, as this has been quite a year.

From tipper rebuilds and chassis repairs/extensions to custom fabrication and general repairs, 2025 has been another big year in the workshop. We’ve taken on some challenging jobs, delivered solid results, and continued to build strong relationships with great clients across the industry.

A huge thank you to all our customers, suppliers, and supporters who have trusted us with their gear this year, your continued support allows us to keep growing and investing back into the business. Heading into 2026, we’re focused on growth and moving forward with expanded capabilities, including more in-house laser cutting, bending, and streamlining how we deliver quality work.

There are some exciting projects already lined up, and we’re looking forward to pushing the business to the next level. We’ll be taking a short break to recharge before getting stuck straight back into it next Monday.

We are pleased to announce an update regarding our services. As you may be aware, our CNC plasma cutting service utilized a conventional old system while functional, did not meet our standards. After considerable thought we have decided to upgrade to a CNC fibre laser. As of next week, we will be offering an in-house laser cutting service.

Currently underway in the workshop is a 5m 2way tipper, 2way tail gate, under body water & fuel tank, effy crane, with extensive amount of storage. Over the past few months, we have been enhancing our equipment, and the fixtures bench provided by Ozcut Abrasives has exceeded our expectations. Initially, we considered purchasing a 3000x1500 platform, but ultimately opted for two 2000x1000 tables instead. Notably, these tables can be combined to form a 2000x2000 surface, which will be suitable for the majority of our projects. 🚨 WE’RE HIRING – WORKSHOP ASSISTANT WANTED
📍 LCC Body Builders – Mundaring WA

We’re looking for a young, motivated workshop assistant who’s mad about trucks, fabrication, and everything in between.

✅ No experience necessary – just the right attitude.
✅ Must be keen to learn fabrication, welding, and heavy vehicle work.
✅ Passion for transport, trucks, or custom builds is a MUST.
✅ Preferably holds a license (or working toward one).
✅ This role suits a school leaver, pre-apprentice, or someone hands-on who wants to get into the industry.

You’ll work alongside experienced fabricators and be involved in:
🔧 Custom tipper builds
🔧 Full truck refurbs
🔧 On-site repairs and fab work
🔧 Prepping, grinding, cleaning, welding, and assembly

🧠 We value initiative, reliability and a bit of grunt.
🔥 If you love trucks and want to turn that into a career – this is your foot in the door.

💥 The right candidate will have the opportunity to move into a full apprenticeship in Vehicle Body Building if it’s a good fit for both sides.
