JUNIOR WORKSHOP ROLE – APPRENTICESHIP PATHWAY
LCC Body Builders is looking for a motivated young person to join our growing team in Mundaring.
This position will commence in a junior workshop role, with the opportunity to progress into a full apprenticeship after a successful 3-month trial period.
We are looking for someone who:
• Is reliable and punctual
• Has a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Has a passion for trucks, trailers, and the transport industry
• Is a forward thinker with a positive attitude
• Works well within a team environment
• Holds a driver’s licence or is currently working towards obtaining one
Highly regarded:
• Certificate II in Engineering or equivalent
• Previous workshop experience
• Basic fabrication or mechanical knowledge
What you’ll learn:
• Laser cutting machine operation
• CNC press brake operation
• Sandblasting and industrial painting
• Fabrication and welding
• Hydraulic systems
• Air systems
• Heavy vehicle body building and repairs
• General engineering and workshop skills
This role offers exposure to a wide range of trade skills, providing an excellent foundation for a long-term career in the heavy vehicle and engineering industry.
Upon successful completion of the 3-month trial period, an apprenticeship will be offered to the right candidate.
At LCC Body Builders, we’re committed to developing quality tradespeople. TAFE fees will be paid by us, and we will support additional industry training where required to help build the best tradesperson possible.
Some Perth metro site work is required from time to time, so applicants must be willing to work both in the workshop and on-site when required.
